Private independent practice with Kyle Abshire, O.D. in Orange Park, Florida for 29 years followed by partnership with Karen Larson, O.D. who purchased Dr. Abshire’s interest. Our busy two-office location practice employees 5 doctors and 25 optometric assistants. We practice full-scope primary care, diagnose and treat glaucoma, diagnose and manage medical retinal conditions, have an active dry eye and anterior segment disease clinic and fit contact lenses, including scleral lenses. All practitioners are certified to prescribe topical and oral pharmaceuticals. We have also partnered with an Ophthalmology practice that consults with us in our office and participates in co-management. Affiliated with PECCA (Regional Leader). Dr. Hoffman is a paid Allergan consultant.
