Event Description:
This course will outline how to determine the level of E/M office visit code by differentiating between 99212, 99213 and 99214 so you can accurately code your examinations. It will also discuss the new 62211 add-on office code and explain our audit services to ensure you are receiving full reimbursement for your services.

Eric Botts has a Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry, is a member of the third party committee of the Illinois Optometric Association, past-President of the Illinois Optometric Association and AACO/Energeyes, the founder and owner of InnovativeEyes Clinics, and the founder and CEO of OBC Insurance Billing and Credentialing Specialists. Dr Botts has published numerous Journal articles on documentation and coding guidelines and is a very passionate and engaging speaker with 3 decades of real-world clinical experience. He has presented over 350 continuing education courses to thousands of fellow OD’s and their staff. Besides having distinguished credentials, Dr Botts is a family man who enjoys making memories with his 3 daughters, granddaughters, grandson and beautiful, wife Lori, and they reside in the Midwest town of Macomb, IL.
