Course Description:
PECAA is pleased to announce its next education event: Back To The Future: Advanced Posterior Pathology. Taking place on Sunday, September 25th, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM PT, this event provides up to six (6) hours of COPE-approved clinical continuing education to optometrists across the country and will be presented in an interactive online Zoom webinar format. COPE rules for the remainder of 2022 allow interactive virtual webinars to count as online clinical education, with no testing requirement.
Each PECAA education event provides impactful instruction on a targeted area relevant to contemporary eye care practice. The September 25th event focuses on opportunities to advance the clinical care of patients with advanced posterior segment pathology. Attendees will expand their knowledge on common and rare retinal pathology, including differentiating vision loss due to retinal causes and optic neuropathies, as well as emerging management options for macular degeneration. In addition, attendees will enhance their clinical skills in diagnosing and distinguishing retinal and posterior segment tumors as well as implementing the latest in myopia management.
Back To The Future: Advanced Posterior Pathology is open to all optometrists nationwide, including PECAA members and non-members alike, and we look forward to welcoming you to this event.
