Part 1: Establishing a Sports Vision Practice

Join Dr. Adam Clarin and Dr. Jennifer Stewart to learn tips on establishing and developing a sports and performance vision practice. They will cover equipment and technology, marketing, training and staffing. They will also give attendees insight into different types of practices and locations, as well as tools for networking and outreach. This is a must attend webinar for anyone interested in developing a sports vision practice!
Part 2: Ways to Enhance Your Practice

Join Dr. Jarrod Davies, Dr. Fred Edmonds, and PECAA member Dr. Alireza Somji as they explore ideas on how to enhance and generate revenue in your sports vision practice. Topics covered will include:
- Considerations in enhancing visual performance with specialty contact lenses
- Nutrition and supplements and how to incorporate these into your practice
- The increasing popularity of Esports and gaming and the significant visual challenges they can present, which is another area of opportunity that is largely unmet.
- The value of networking with athletic trainers, coaches and sport-specific trainers will also be discussed.
Part 3: Sports Vision Safety

Dr. Charles Shidlofsky, Dr. Alex Andrich, and Dr. Thomas Boudon will cover the topic of Sports Vision Safety. Safe participation in sports is a key element to overall athletic success. This webinar will cover the topics of contact lens fitting for athletes and protective eyewear. Attendees will also learn how teams collaborate with an optometrist for concussed athletes along with testing protocols and implementation of a vision rehabilitation program.
