A New Marketing and Charitable Giving Program
What is PECAA’s Growing Through Giving Program?
Launched at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Nashville, PECAA’s Growing Through Giving program is designed to give Members an easy way to support charitable projects within the optometric community while also providing a simple and effective method to grow your practice through cause-related marketing and branding.
PECAA’s charity of choice, Optometry Giving Sight, aims to raise funds for children’s vision projects in underserved countries.
The goal of Growing Through Giving to raise $100,000 in 2017 through a combination of PECAA member support, PECAA vendor support, and PECAA contributions to support Optometry Giving Sight’s efforts to provide eye exams and glasses to 20,000 children in developing countries.
How does a PECAA Member Practice Benefit from Growing Through Giving?
Growing Through Giving is an investment in your practice, as this cause-related marketing will help drive growth and enhance your brand. All participating Members have the option to utilize a comprehensive digital and physical marketing toolkit developed by PECAA’s strategic marketing vendor partner, Innexus (if your practice uses Innexus, the digital toolkit can be customized and automatically administered for you throughout the year).
Your donation is tax deductible.
For the first 150 PECAA member practices to sign up, you will receive the exclusive Digital Marketing Toolkit for free.
How can PECAA members support the Growing Through Giving Initiative?
There are two easy ways to give:
- Sign up to donate 5% (or more) of each of your 2017 IncentivEYES® rebate checks (for the average PECAA member, this is roughly $400 total for the year). The commitment is for 4 consecutive quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 of 2017)
- A one-time cash donation
PECAA and Premier Vendor Partner ZEISS have agreed to combine efforts to match the donations of the first 150 member practices to sign up.
